Hardware

Device Color

ittle’s kids tablet is a good looking tablet that comes with a rubber bumper. The tablet is available in 2 colors: Blue and Pink. The color of the bumper here is basically the device color. Not only this rubber bumper prevents the corners of the tablet from damages, but it also prevents the tablet from damages due to inevitable falls during its use. There is no such plastic cover at the back which can give a specific viewing angle if you are watching videos.

Cameras, Memory, and Ports

Coming to the cameras, ittle’s tablet does not have a front camera. It comes with a front camera of 2 MP. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a micro HDMI output. It also features a headphone jack, mono speaker, and a microSD card slot for adding up to 32GB of external storage along with the internal 8GB.

Though out of this 8GB, only 1 GB is available to the user. The micro USB port available is used for charging and syncing, it also supports USB on-the-go (OTG) so that you can access files stored on a pen drive through this tablet.

Resolution and Processor

The hardware of the tablet is well built but it lacks having good screen resolution. 1024×600 resolution of ittle’s kids tablet is same as the new Amazon Fire. We are yet to see a tablet with good resolution in kids segment and this price range. As this tablet features an IPS screen, colors do look right as compared to various other tablets that need to be held straight-on to view correct colors.

Coming to the performance, ittle’s tablet features a 1.5GHz quad-core processor which is speedy enough considering that this tablet is to be used by a kid. The presence of microHDMI slot means that you can connect your tablet to a TV and play games on a bigger screen as well. ittle’s kids tablet comes with a 1 GB RAM which is sufficient for a kids’ use.

Software

The software is equally important as hardware on a kids’ tablet. I’d say it’s even more important than hardware. It comes with few pre-loaded apps such as ittle’s Education App so that once you have set up an account, it’s ready to go with hours of fun before you need to install any new apps.kids tablet

Along with this, ittle’s tablet gives parents full access to Android Kitkat operating system, unlike many such tablets available for kids. Google Apps available in the tablet include Play Store, Gmail, YouTube, Maps, and Photos. ittle’s tablet allows you to make multiple profiles in case it is being used by more than 1 kid.

Conclusion

Considering the processor speed which is remarkably more than the tablets in this range, ittle’s tablet is actually a good buy in this range with such features. And since it has become a must for every kid to have a tablet, you should go for it.

If you don’t want to give your device to your kid as he or she might end up doing something unwanted on your phone or tablet, this is a right choice. With Play Store coming inbuilt and allowing you to install any app of your choice, it’s worth the money.
